Neomercazole
It was the first day in Dr.Lepakshi sir's unit. I was presenting a case of Thyrotoxicosis and he was dictating the treatment to me. He said 'Neomercazole' and I wrote Leomercazole. He got angry and said 'are u not a house surgoen? dont u know what drug we use for thyrotoxicosis?" I said yes sir... Carbimezole, Methimazole, Propylthyouracil. This the trade name of Carbimazole and I had no idea about this. After coming back I opened the book and read about it. That was an embarrassing situation but turned out to be useful.

Ranga Reddy Sir
Ranga Reddy sir is one of the few modest seniors I have known. He is from Anantapur. He sticks to good principles and morals. He is living US now and trying for residency there. Luckily I found him on Orkut and requested him to join this blog. Sir is down to earth person and has some rare characters which are rare to find in people these days. He even rejected my testimonial because he said he felt 'shy' to accept it because he feels he is not the right guy for it. Thats his modesty and politeness. On the whole, hearty and warm welcome to you sir. Hope you will share your memories with us here.

Anatomy Dept
Most dreadful and hated department of SVMC. The narrow corridor you see in the pic leads you to the dissection room. On the right side there is HOD's room. Dr.Subhakar (Lion of SVMC) was the HOD and he got retired with our batch. Students and even staff used you get frightened with his look. Likewise there are lot of jokes of guys getting scolded by him. When I mention Anatomy dept, I must not forget two more names, Dr.Shekhar and Dr.Jaleshwara Rao (Jolly sir). Dr.Shekhar was famous for his colourful (poolarangadu) clothes and Dr.Jaleshwara Rao was famous for his intimacy with students. Both of them were helped students a lot during practicle exams.
Those 3 hours in dissection room were most boring hours for me. Sometimes it used to be fun chatting with friends. But most of the times it used to be boring and torturous. But I think its an enjoyment in its own way if I think back now.
Harish
You can't find out who is greater factionist... Harish(white) or Shanta(black). Harish lives with his mother and he is one of my best friends. He has been with us since we joined the course. His home is near our home and his mother is kind and loving to all of us. Shanta lives in hostel and comes to our house for timepass and chit chat. Right now all are preparing very (very very) seriously for PG entrance exam.
Bhupal
Bhupal (Ram Bhupal Reddy in full, the one in black) is one of my best friends.
He is my room mate from around 5 years. The guy in white shirt is Shanta Reddy. Bhupal is decent, soft natured and helping. That is the famous nandi in the kapil teertham circle where we often go to get some tea and peace of mind.
