2012 is about to End
Its December 2012 already. In this whole year I gained lot professionally and personally. I got married this year. I days i spent in Ooty and Devala were most beautiful days of my life. The greenery, fog and the climate makes you feel younger. Life has gone so far... from the days of college student, I have come to this middle age... All the friends are busy in their own life. I think 2012 batch of SVMC must be completing their first year by now. Strange and mysterious is time... and life.

One more year passed
Ok 2012 is here. Years are going like months these days. Its 7.30 am now
and my mind is full of memories from the college days. I am laying on
my bed and remembering how me and my room mates used to go to Tirumala
for tea.... how we used to spend our evenings in kapil teertam circle.
Btw, Kapil teetam circle is not so beautiful these days like it used to
be back once. Those were wonderful days.

Journey from 2010 to 2011
I can not imagine......one year passed just like one week. The last post i had posted was in last january. One full year passed, filled me with so many memories to share. The major events of last year which I remember are my friends Dr. Naveen's, Dr. Vishwanath Reddy's, Dr. Sharvan's marriages and my dog Inu. I still remember those days i spent with him. Now, lying on my bed at 3am, am wondering, what has changed in my life. I must say nothing much. I spent most of the year 2010 in tirupati. Hope God has new plans for me this year.

Golden Jubilee
Golden Jubilee celebrations are supposed to be held on 8th, 9th and 10th of this month. Its not organized by the students.... so obviously the atmosphere in the campus is very dull. Some old people are roaming happily and all the youngsters are frustrated with the professors. If anyone of you old students of S. V. M. C are planning to attend the golden jubilee, then please rethink. Theres nothing exiting going on here.

Neomercazole
It was the first day in Dr.Lepakshi sir's unit. I was presenting a case of Thyrotoxicosis and he was dictating the treatment to me. He said 'Neomercazole' and I wrote Leomercazole. He got angry and said 'are u not a house surgoen? dont u know what drug we use for thyrotoxicosis?" I said yes sir... Carbimezole, Methimazole, Propylthyouracil. This the trade name of Carbimazole and I had no idea about this. After coming back I opened the book and read about it. That was an embarrassing situation but turned out to be useful.

Ranga Reddy Sir

Ranga Reddy sir is one of the few modest seniors I have known. He is from Anantapur. He sticks to good principles and morals. He is living US now and trying for residency there. Luckily I found him on Orkut and requested him to join this blog. Sir is down to earth person and has some rare characters which are rare to find in people these days. He even rejected my testimonial because he said he felt 'shy' to accept it because he feels he is not the right guy for it. Thats his modesty and politeness. On the whole, hearty and warm welcome to you sir. Hope you will share your memories with us here.

Anatomy Dept

Most dreadful and hated department of SVMC. The narrow corridor you see in the pic leads you to the dissection room. On the right side there is HOD's room. Dr.Subhakar (Lion of SVMC) was the HOD and he got retired with our batch. Students and even staff used you get frightened with his look. Likewise there are lot of jokes of guys getting scolded by him. When I mention Anatomy dept, I must not forget two more names, Dr.Shekhar and Dr.Jaleshwara Rao (Jolly sir). Dr.Shekhar was famous for his colourful (poolarangadu) clothes and Dr.Jaleshwara Rao was famous for his intimacy with students. Both of them were helped students a lot during practicle exams.
Those 3 hours in dissection room were most boring hours for me. Sometimes it used to be fun chatting with friends. But most of the times it used to be boring and torturous. But I think its an enjoyment in its own way if I think back now.
Harish
You can't find out who is greater factionist... Harish(white) or Shanta(black). Harish lives with his mother and he is one of my best friends. He has been with us since we joined the course. His home is near our home and his mother is kind and loving to all of us. Shanta lives in hostel and comes to our house for timepass and chit chat. Right now all are preparing very (very very) seriously for PG entrance exam.
Bhupal

Bhupal (Ram Bhupal Reddy in full, the one in black) is one of my best friends.
He is my room mate from around 5 years. The guy in white shirt is Shanta Reddy. Bhupal is decent, soft natured and helping. That is the famous nandi in the kapil teertham circle where we often go to get some tea and peace of mind.

Shanta's performance
Shanta Reddy, Satti is what we call him. We can see an excellent off stage performance by Satti. A hidden talent expressed out.
Naveen's Introduction
Hai I am Naveen, completed medicine from S.V.Medical college,I joined the course in the year 2000 .I entered the college with lot of dreams 'n' passion, starting days ofcourse took time to get adjusted and mingle with my co-students.First 3 months in my college life I came to know a lot of things 'what to do what not to do'.First thing I learnt is not to rag my juniors as most of my seniors did behave with me .I made friends very soon , yeah I earned very good friends here.We used to enjoy ourselves a lot, watching movies, weekend trips,playing,chatting........Location of our college is very beautiful, nearby lies green hilly area which makes a very good landmark to our college.Indeed, my college days are HAPPY DAYS..............
